Dear San Onofre Families,

It is my honor to serve as your principal for the 2022-2023 school year!  San Onofre School has a wonderful reputation and I am excited to have the opportunity to lead a school with an amazing, dedicated team of teachers and staff.  In addition, I am proud to be part of a school community that works intentionally to support military families and their children.  I look forward to meeting you as we work together to provide the best possible learning experiences for your children.  

One of our goals this year is to provide more opportunities for families to be on campus and participate in their child’s education.  We saw many of the COVID guidelines being lifted towards the end of last year and hope that trend continues.  We are excited to welcome parents and volunteers back on campus, and we are already planning opportunities for you such as Lunch on the Lawn, Family Movie Nights, and Flag Ceremonies/Leadership Rallies.  

An important component of student success is strong communication between school and home.  A few important ways we will work to keep you  informed are available on San Onofre’s website.  On our website you will find:

• News & Announcements 
• Calendar of Events
• Teacher Directory

We will also send emails, make phone calls, and deliver texts to inform and remind you of important events throughout the year.  In addition, you are always welcome to call the school at 760-731-4361 if you have any questions or concerns.
