San Onofre School welcomed students and families for a special Back to School Night filled with excitement, connection, and a strong sense of community.
Throughout the evening, families had the opportunity to visit classrooms, meet teachers, explore the campus, and learn more about what students will experience during the 2026–27 school year. Students proudly showed parents and family members their new classrooms, shared their work, and enjoyed time playing and reconnecting with friends across campus.
For San Onofre School, the evening was also an opportunity to recognize and celebrate the military families who are such an important part of the school community. The school is grateful to the many military parents and families who made time to attend, connect with staff, and be part of this important beginning-of-the-year tradition.
Serving families connected to Camp Pendleton is a special part of the San Onofre community, and events like Back to School Night provide another opportunity to strengthen the relationships that help students feel supported, connected, and at home at school.
One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was the opportunity for parents and teachers to connect directly. These early conversations help establish strong partnerships, provide families with a better understanding of classroom expectations, and create an open line of communication that will support students throughout the school year.
Across campus, the excitement was easy to see—from children eagerly showing off their classrooms to families meeting teachers and spending time together as a school community. San Onofre looks forward to another great year of learning, growth, and connection
